28 JANUARY 2018

B-Quik Racing Co. Ltd. (“B-Quik Racing”) is set to kick the new season off bright and early as we have now completed our preparations and we are ready to participate in the two day Official Thailand Super Series (TSS) test at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, this coming Tuesday and Wednesday (30-31 January).

The pre-season test – which is being conducted for the first time this year – is primarily focused on “Balance of Performance” (BoP) evaluation ahead of the new season, that’s particularly relevant to hold in advance as the opening round of the 2018 TSS season will take place at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, at the end of next month.

Focus will be on the shakedown and BoP assessment of the current roster of cars for Super Car GTM and Super Car GTC. We will bring one Audi R8 LMS Cup plus a trio of Porsche 997 GT3 Cup machines that we will both race and utilise for back up during the coming season.

For the schedule of BoP testing, Daniel Bilski will be our nominated driver. With all our cars involved having seen close season service work undertaken in our workshops and one in fact being a new addition to our racecar roster the two days on track will provide a very useful shakedown opportunity and to get the whole team back in the groove as we haven’t raced since last September.

The Buriram test will also provide a first opportunity to take a closer look at the Camaro TA2 we plan to run in the inaugural TA2 Thailand this year, although our main acclimatisation programme with this new racecar will commence after the test.

Daniel Bilski: “After a long break since the end of the 2017 season I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of a race car. It's an important couple of days testing coming up and I am more than happy to be the designated BQR driver for the test. I haven't driven a racecar since the last race of last season, so the test will be fantastic seat time for me to get back into race mode, as well as important data collection for the team. It's a big year coming up, so this test is the start of our on-track preparations for what promises to be a strong year ahead.”
